Clerks who work at Alco Water Co in Salinas are rude and mean!!!!! I always pay tru bill pay on my account thru Wells fargo on the first day of month they said they don't look at check date only day they get paid and then add $10.00 late charge as a senior every dollar counts. I don't know why it got there late, but after being a customer since 2004 and never late I requested to have it taken off but got weird answers, wish I could change water Co. 0 stars for Alco water!!!!!!

Customer service is non existent. Staff are rude and in a word, ghetto To the staff who answer phones and help customers - if y'all hate your job and the demographic you serve - get a new job.

If I could give them 0 stars or even -100 I would. They are very unprofessional and rude. I sent the check on the mail and even called the Alco water office to send them a copy of the check last month and charged me a late fee because “they never received it”. I called to check in why they haven’t cash it and kept waiting for them until they charged me a late fee and they did not removed it and I had to pay cash. I had always paid on time. The lady was very mean. Would not recommend at all, please improve your customer service.

My water is by Alco Water Services. Workers are dry and short with you while the customer has to wait to be attended in a long line. Why isn’t there online bill pay and they only accept cash?
I suspect it’s a method to under report to the government.
If there is a lawsuit, have your paper trail ready.

Jobs run way longer than intended. Frequently unintended damage happens. Just about every time they work. This inconsistent water availability hurt poorer areas where they know they can get away with racking up hours without to question them. Would not use their services. Probably pay way more than quoted.

I found the staff very helpful. I don't understand these bad reviews!! Susie took care of my new account in minutes. She was polite, well spoken and knew her job. There is even a drive up window to pay your bill.

Honestly I wish I could give this place 0 stars. First, they are extremely rude and unprofessional. Second, I went on vacation for not even three days. I had no choice but to leave my animals at home, plenty of food and water and they had automatic food and water dispensers, plus I had someone come over daily to check on them. I wasn’t even gone a day, and my friend called me and told me that they shut my water off even though they got the payment for the month and cashed it in. My lord, my animals almost didn’t have water for days!! I just got home still no water, can’t take a shower, can’t wash my hands or even wash the dish’s or dirty laundry. The worst place ever!
