Nice place for a classic breakfast. They have really good options for healthy eaters. Simple and delicious. Stuff is welcoming too

This is a very popular breakfast spot in Aspen. Not exactly sure why, we had a less than stellar experience. After taking out order and serving us water and coffee the waitress was never seen again. Leaving us with the need for refills for both coffee and water. I had to get up and ask a bus person for refills. The food arrived and the potatoes were cold and tasted like they had been cooked long ago. It was disappointing to say the least. We finally had our server come with the bill and much to my surprise the tip was included!! No wonder their is no incentive to provide good service! Thankfully, I caught that despite having a blank line on the receipt for a tip!

Great location, customer service was attentive and efficient. Nice to enjoy a breakfast outside watching the people walk by in Aspen. Only negative I would add is the food was not great quality. In terms of pricing, I understand Aspen is expensive, but here we didn’t feel we got what we paid for in terms of quality good food. Hoping they focus on key items to be very good because it’s more about quality than quantity.

Service was quick and efficient which i really appreciated however, we ordered an omelette, latte, and an avocado benedict. we both got potatoes with our meals which were genuinely the worst potatoes i’ve ever received from a restaurant which was disappointing considering our meals were both over $18. The latte was fine, not worth $7 to me. The service and atmosphere were very nice but the food we got was very mediocre for how much it cost.

Food was good, but the price was absolutely ridiculous. For these three things, as well as a smoothie and a coffee, the total turned out to be $60, but they had automatic 18% gratuity added that, along with the other odds and ends fees, took the total up to $80. After I had paid the $80 and they gave me the card back, I saw that they were asking for ANOTHER tip. Yes, it's Aspen, but this was insane. There were only two of us, as well. I could justify the price if it were a nicer establishment, but it's just a little hole-in-the-wall type diner.

Great spot to get a sir down breakfast in Aspen. The Benedict lox was a great meal to get the day started. This was my first trip to Aspen and I arrived hours before my check in at the hotel. The staff was friendly quick and attentive. Could tell thus was a spot fir locals as some people that entered were greeted by name. My opinion on finding places like this in a town makes you feel welcome and a part of the town. Had to stop by again on the second day and enjoyed the Rancheros. If in Aspen this is the place to get a great breakfast.

Nice, clean dining area with excellent service. The food came out quickly, was hot, and really good. I had the Nutella Banana crepe and it was wonderful. One of my brothers got the Breakfast Burrito and I sampled some. The salsa was delicious and the eggs were done just right! My other brother got the French toast, and while I didn’t sample it, he said it was good.

Poppycock’s Breakfast Eatery is a fun and casual spot with both outdoor and indoor seating. The food is pretty tasty, though not standout. I opted for 2 eggs over easy with toast, potatoes, and pistachio sausage. The eggs seemed a bit undercooked, and both the potatoes and sausage were just okay.

Despite this, the convenience and the enjoyable atmosphere make it a nice choice. However, in my opinion, there are better options available in the area.
