We pull up, there’s only two other vehicles there and no one comes up to us (which is fine, people are busy). So we go up to the counter and there’s about 5 employees just sitting around, they tell us they only accept scrap metal 500lbs or more. My boyfriend and I are DTV contractors so all of our extra equipment from sites gets recycled because we don’t have the space to carry everything with us, so the 500lbs was fine with us. Now this is BRAND NEW satellite tv equipment that we didn’t have time to sell so we got $33 for 650lbs of metal.

Other people in the reviews have mentioned that they take care of unloading the metal scraps for you, that was not the case. No one even came over to see if we needed any help. Which is fine, I’m just writing this because previous reviews gave me a very different impression and I want people to know what they’re in store for.

We were there for about an hour. Because we had to unwrap new equipment from sealed boxes and reorganize our truck but if you don’t have much, it would probably be an “in and out” situation.

The area is right past the traffic light to the left is the entrance you will see a big sign with the company name. My first time here and the parking is confusing, so you're suppose to pull up and try not to block other cars.

Once there you need to get a cart roller for you scrap metal. Its located to the right of the weight scale.
The waiting line is on the right side aswell, you will see markers on the floor.
Once you got your metals sorted out one type per cart someone will assist you weighing them. Then you go up to the clerk inside the building. Get your metals prices ect and give you a ticket to give to the cashier next door.

The place needs better visble signs for parking and the waiting line. BEWARE that you need to bring more than $50 of material inorder for the buyer to purchase certain wire from you. For instance in my case they wouldn't accept my CAT6 cable unless I had $50 worth of wire luckily I had 48lbs of bright wire copper so he accepted my cat6.

I live in Tracy and I was frustrated looking for helpful reviews of different locations. Turns out this is the best area with good prices! Check iscrap website for prices of materials. Ppl get upset and think certain areas are scamming when they dont know that the non ferrous metal prices fluctuate.

WARNING at 12:00pm is lunch time and you have to wait 30mins for the buyer to come back. So be there before that time but its best after.

I took in some number 2 copper wire and weighed 44 pounds and was paid 28 dollars. I asked for price per pound to guy helping unlaod it and was told cashier would have price . well my mistake because i called on phone before going and the cashiwr said her buyer stepped out and i had 15 mins to get there before they closed. I checked on avg price per pound and it was well over 2.00 per pound . i took my receipt and left as door was closing and found out i was paid 65 cents per pound. Funny thing cashier and guy who helped me unload had a conversation out of my hearing range im assumong about my drop off . i looked at receipt and saw my wire said no 2 copper then 55 %. Well im here to say that wire was not stolen and im waiting till monday to speak to a manager because something dont seem right. Will update on outcome
