I use to be with someone that lived there the management is a joke maintenance is a joke. The management doesn't do up keep she let's certain tenants get away with whatever they want. If you don't do what management wants she will evict you if you are a resident or if you are a visitor you will be put on the ban list. She has drugs being trafficked inside the complex and allows domestic issues to occur maintenance trys sleeping with tenants and uses drugs to. She won't rent to you if a tenant tells her not to. Management will sleep with guy tenants to and when someone tells them no they evict them.

I lived there with my grandmother in the early '90s and worked as a maintenance man for a while after that but things have changed drastically since then.

My daughter is a single mother and moved into Alco about a year ago. She works PRN (as needed) as a medical assistant so her hours vary between 25-40/week but her hourly pay has remained the same. The manager would make her bring every check stubs and adjust her rent every month. Rent started at around $200 but increased every month until it was finally just over $500

I'm a disabled Iraqi War vet and I try to help her out any way I can. The manager also told her she had to report any cash I gave her because it would affect her rent. I can sometimes give her $20-$50 but no more than that.

On top of all that she was constantly infested with bed bugs. They'd spray her apartment but not the neighboring ones so the bugs would just come back after a couple of days.

I finally helped her get out of the apartment and into another place. She turned in a two week notice in July but the manager said it wasn't good enough and she'd have to pay for August's rent...which was over $500...and said she was taking legal action to get it.

I see a lot of bad reviews because of drugs and crime and I understand there's not a lot management can do about that but they could ease up on the constant harassment like my daughter experienced.
